Thank you for visiting my Charity Rider web site.

The buttons on the top will help you navigate through each of the different sections. There isn’t a lot of important info “about me” here, as it’s not about me. I like to ride a bike and there are charity rides in most areas, almost every weekend, in the warmer months. I can’t think of a better way for this 1958 vintage “kid” from the Midwest to help others.

Last year I rode a bit differently from years past. I was recently certified as a USA Cycling Club Coach. My main priority in the JDRF training and event rides was helping others fully enjoy the challenges of preparing for and participating in an event like a century ride (100 miles in a day) in Death Valley.

I pay for my registrations, gear and travel. I contribute to each of the individual charities, but I don’t help all that much by myself - contributors like you do. I’ll do the hard part if you’ll do the important part. This year my goal is to raise $10,000 in support of all the rides listed in the events section.
