Workplace Safety

• OSHA rules mandate: "The floor of every workroom shall be maintained in a clean, and so far as possible, dry condition. Where wet processes are used, drainage shall be maintained and false floors, platforms, mats or other dry standing places should be provided where practicable." Our SorbIts® absorbents, SorbIts® SlipBusters® and SorbIts® SAFEmats® provide the absorbency needed to reduce the risk of slip and fall injuries and maintain a safe environment in areas where fluids may leak. Our Accident Prevention Mats are dual purpose — they prevent slips and falls, as well as promoting safety awareness.
• Protect your employees by choosing the right garment for the job, including NFPA 70E, hi-visibility and other protective apparel. We offer a full range of Garments (rental and direct purchase) to keep them safe!
• ITU's First Aid & Safety Managed Program and supplies help meet OSHA 29 CFR 1910.151, Subpart K and 29 CFR 1926.5, Subpart D Standards. They basically say that you need to have adequate first aid and medical supplies available and easily accessible.

5S Assistance
There are five primary phases of 5S: sorting, straightening, systematic cleaning, standardizing, and sustaining. There is an additional phase, safety, that is sometimes included. Our team of professionals can help you match the right products to support your 5S programs. SorbIts® absorbents and Managed Floor Care Program provide a cleaner, safer solution around your facility. Our Account Executives work closely with our Route Sales and Service Reps and District Managers. These people are the backbone of the service team. Our route service network is structured in such a way that each facility can depend on deliveries and pickups on a very regular basis.

Another key component of the Genuine Service Excellence process is our Customer Response Center (CRC). The CRC team members are empowered to handle customer requests and is available to customers anytime. The advantage of this unique service to our customers include: speaking to a live person, having 85% of all customer requests fulfilled immediately, and a quick response through direct contact with all members of the service team.
