• AbsorbTech celebrates significant safety milestone — AbsorbTech's South Bend facility celebrated 15 years without a lost time injury in July. The location, which processes more than 100,000 pounds of absorbents, towels and floor mats each month, has been injury free since it began operations in South Bend on July 1, 1996. [ more ]
• ITU New Berlin Facility Presented with Safety Award — In support of June being National Safety Month, the Wisconsin Safety Council (WSC) toured the state of Wisconsin to recognize this year's 15 corporate safety award winners. • ITU and Company President Receive Safety Honors —Wisconsin Safety Council presented ITU with the 2010 Wisconsin Corporate Safety Award which honors organizations achieving excellence in safety and health. • ITU to Exhibit at Wisconsin Safety & Health Conference and Exhibition — ITU will be available to educate conference attendees on Wisconsin Act 86 and highlight the SorbIts® system as the solution for this used oil absorbents landfill ban. [ more ]

• ITU Facility Registered to ISO 14001 — As a leader in protecting the environment, the management system of ITU's New Berlin facility has been registered to ISO 14001.
• Zelienople Service Center Added — ITU announces their new Zielienople Service Center in Pennsylvania to better serve the greater Pittsburgh area.
• Mirus™ Added to SorbIts® Family — ITU and AbsorbTech launch Mirus™ as the newest SorbIts® Ultra family member. A highly absorbent, low lint printer towel, Mirus™ was specifically designed to meet the needs of high-end printing facilities.
