ITU and AbsorbTech have maintained a long-standing philosophy of supporting charitable causes and organizations in the communities in which we operate. This includes corporate gifting, corporate sponsorship and encouraging employee volunteer activities in charitable events, organizations and activities. Examples of major charitable initiatives include:

• Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) — ITU donates part of its proceeds from their annual Tee Up Fore the Cure golf outing. Additionally, many employees participate in various JDRF walks and rides throughout the year.
• Max McGee National Research Center for Juvenile Diabetes at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin — ITU donates part of its proceeds from their annual Tee Up Fore the Cure golf outing they host every year.
• Second Chance Partners for Education — Second Chance is a model for alternative high school programs that provides Waukesha County (WI) high school students with a nontraditional approach to earning their high school diploma. ITU provides a dedicated Second Chance Education Center classroom facility on its New Berlin, WI offices for faculty and students.
• Condella’s Coats for Kids — For over 10 years ITU has supported WITI’s annual outerwear donation program which assists Milwaukee’s disadvantaged youths. ITU launders over 100,000 winter coats for distribution in the Milwaukee Public School system and via various programs administered by the Salvation Army.
• Boys & Girls Clubs — ITU supports, via financial donations and volunteer efforts during fundraising drives, several Boys & Girls Clubs in the communities in which we operate.
